A Registered Nurse for more than 29 years, Beth graduated in 2005 from The Ohio State University College of Nursing with a Master's Degree with a specialization of Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. From 2005 to 2014, Beth worked at Lima Pediatrics in Lima, Ohio, as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
Beth has several special interests: newborns—premature or full term; growth and development; skin issues; and kids with behavioral challenges, such as autism, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Beth prefers to use non-medication treatment to effect healing before prescribing medications. She seeks to discover the underlying cause for the problem rather than treat a symptom only. However, if medications are needed, she will order what is required for the child's recovery or alleviation of symptoms.
Beth is passionate about providing effective care to children; she desires to do the right thing the first time. She recognizes life is full of challenges for families, and that time and money are precious resources for everyone.
Beth is married and has three children: Ian, Lauren, and Emily. Beth lives with her husband and daughters in Bluffton, Ohio.
